WikiLeaks tweeted Monday afternoon that they would publish a statement from National Security Agency leak source Edward Snowden in Moscow. It's now been more than 40 minutes — there's been no statement.

It could have something to do with a Reuters report of a letter Snowden sent to the Ecuadorean government, thanking them for helping him get to Russia and threatening new disclosures about NSA surveillance programs.
